Electronic signature consent
This is the text each recipient sees and agrees to before they can sign. The service stores the version and a SHA-256 fingerprint of the exact text with the time of agreement in the audit trail.

The sender's legal name is filled in from the sending organisation's details.
Please read this before you sign.
By ticking the box you agree to receive and sign these documents electronically with [Sender legal name]. When you press "Sign", you intend the signature you adopt to be your signature on these documents, with the same intention as signing on paper.
You can download or print the documents before you agree, and at any time while the link works. When everyone has finished, all parties receive the final PDF with a certificate of completion; please keep it, because links stop working after a while.
You can ask [Sender legal name] for a paper copy and to sign on paper instead. You can withdraw this agreement at any time before you sign: press "Decline" and give a reason, or contact the sender. Signatures other parties have already given are not affected.
We record your name, email address, IP address, browser details and the time of each step; these details are attached to the document as an audit trail. [Sender legal name] is the controller of your personal data in this envelope; KAIROS-K LTD provides Kairos-K Sign as its processor. See the Privacy Notice.
You need a device with an up-to-date web browser and a PDF reader. If your email address changes, please tell the sender.

Standing authority for automatic signing (users of an organisation)
A user named as the countersigning signer in a template approved by an owner or admin may give a standing authority for that template version only, after a fresh one-time code to their own email. The wording is: "As [job title] of [organisation legal name], acting with the company's authority, I authorise Kairos-K Sign to apply my saved signature, for and on behalf of [organisation legal name], to envelopes created from the template '[name]' (version [version hash], approved by me on [date]), only after every other party has signed. I can withdraw this at any time. It ends on [date] or when my role changes. It does not cover deeds or documents to be executed under s.44 Companies Act 2006." The text and its SHA-256 are recorded. It ends after 12 months, when withdrawn, and when the template, the user's role or job title changes. It is never used for deeds or documents that need a witness. Each automatic signature is applied only after every other party has signed; it is recorded in the audit trail and on the certificate (authority text and hash, template version, who bound the role, capacity "for and on behalf of [organisation], [job title]", and "applied by system: no human action at time of signing"), and the user is emailed with a link to dispute it.
